Who calls us
Who usually calls us
Most of the people who find this page are not looking for themselves. They are the bilingual one in the family, handling insurance for parents, in-laws or a crew at work, and they want an agent who can talk to everyone in the language each person is comfortable with.
Adult children helping their parents
You sort out the details in English; your parents hear the coverage explained in Spanish and sign knowing what they bought.
Couples where one of you prefers Spanish
Both of you hear the same explanation, so nobody signs on trust alone.
People new to the United States
No U.S. driving history, a foreign licence or no social security number changes which carriers will quote, not whether you can be insured. See car insurance in Washington.
Employers with Spanish-speaking crews
Certificates, work trucks and liability for the business, explained to the owner and the foreman alike. See business insurance.
Why it matters
What changes when your agent speaks Spanish
The words on the policy stay the same; what changes is whether the person paying for it understands them. Insurance is full of terms that do not translate cleanly, and a misunderstood exclusion is how a claim gets denied. Explaining it in the language someone thinks in is the whole job.
Coverage explained, not translated
We explain what each line means for your car or your home, not a word-for-word translation of the form.
The paperwork is still in English
Most policy documents are issued in English. We go through the declarations page line by line — here is how to read one.
A claim in the language you think in
After an accident is the worst moment to search for words. If we're your agency, you can tell us what happened in Spanish and we help you report it.
The same answer for everyone
Ask on WhatsApp in a family group and everyone reads the same explanation, in English and in Spanish.

Independent help
Free help in Spanish from the state, too
You don't need an agent to get answers in Spanish. The Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner runs a free consumer line, 800-562-6900, with staff who speak Spanish and free phone interpreters in more than 100 languages, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It's the place to go with a complaint or a question about your rights.

Where to find us
Both offices have a bilingual person at the desk Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Anywhere else in Washington, it all works by phone, WhatsApp and e-signature.
What people ask us most
Questions families ask us
Do you have Spanish-speaking insurance agents?
Yes. Every agent on our team speaks English and Spanish, at both the Tacoma and Auburn offices and on WhatsApp. You can start a conversation in one language and finish it in the other.
Will my policy documents be in Spanish?
Usually not. Most carriers issue policy documents in English. We explain them in Spanish, line by line, before you sign and whenever something on them changes.
Can I handle my parents' insurance for them?
Yes, with their permission. The person named on the policy signs it, and you can do the rest of the conversation with us in English while we explain it to them in Spanish.
Can my parents get insurance without a social security number?
Yes. Policies can be written with an ITIN, a passport or a consular ID. It changes which of the six carriers will quote them, not whether they can be insured.
One conversation, two languages.
Tell us who needs insurance and in which language they'd like to hear it. We'll take it from there.
